Tough as nails, yet pretty as can be, “that girl is badd” is what you thought, or said about Halle’s, Beyonce’s and Vanessa William’s performance…as quiet as it’s kept, it was stuntwoman--Angela Meryl!

Ms. Meryl’s work as an accomplished stuntwoman has garnered recognition on numerous fronts, including a history making two-time Taurus Award nomination for the compelling opening scene in Kill Bill when Meryl---disguised as Vivica Fox---came crashing through the glass coffee table. Yeah, “she’s a badd mother…” shut your mouth!!!

Bedazzled by the words “lights, cameras, action,” the Willingboro, New Jersey native went from model/make-up artist to stunt woman out of sheer necessity. "All my life I’ve wanted to act. I put the “d” in drama from the very beginning! And so to get my SAG card a friend set me up with a stunt in the movie First Kid, starring Sinbad." Tenacity overcame fear that day. More than a decade later, Meryl is not only in the game, she's on top of it as one of THE most sought after stunt beauty’s in Hollywood, keeping her racing into cliff-side guard railings at 60 miles per hour, crashing into the deep, murky waters of the Hudson River and into ambulances on Grey’s Anatomy.

As martial artist and mother of an adorable baby girl, Meryl trains daily for fitness and studies with Hollywood’s top acting coaches to stay on point and in the business. A short list of the more noted performances in her acting career would have to include…Alpha Dog, as “Angela Meryl”, Pirates of the Caribbean 3, ER as the wife of actor Rocky Carroll and Havoc as “Dina.” And in the midst of it all she insists on making time to mentor at-risk / inner-city girls through a program at her Los Angeles based church.

The bright lights surrounding leading men Denzel, Dinero and Foxx will soon be shared with leading lady, Angela Meryl---a badd mother...shut your mouth!!!
